1 Tes Os Fis Los, nyob hauv kuv thawj phau ntawv, kuv twb sau txog tas ib puas tsav yam uas Yes Xus tau ua thiab tau qhia txij lub hauv paus los, 2 mus txog hnub uas Ntuj nqa nws mus saum ntuj. Thaum nws yuav mus, Leej Ntuj Plig Ntshiab tshoj kom nws xub qhia cov Hauv Paus Xa Lus uas nws tau xaiv. 3 Thaum nws raug luag tsim txom tas, nws yees tawm los xyuas cov Hauv Paus Xa Lus. Nws ua ntau yam zeem tseeb tias nws muaj txoj sia, nws tawm los rau lawv pom plaub caug hnub, nws tham txog
Tswv Ntuj lub Ceeb Tsheej rau lawv. 4 Thaum Yes Xus nrog lawv nyob, nws hais rau lawv kom tsis txhob tawm hauv Yes Lus Xas Les mus, kom lawv nyob tos Leej Txiv lo lus cog tseg “Lo lus uas nej hnov kuv hais tias 5 Zam ua kab ke ntxuav nyob hauv dej. Hos nej, mas tshuav hnub puav xwb, nej yuav txais kab ke ntxuav nyob hauv Leej Ntuj Plig Ntshiab.”
1 The first book I wrote, Theophilus, concerned all that Jesus began both to do and to teach, 2 until the day in which he was received up, after he had given commandment through the Holy Spirit to the apostles whom he had chosen. 3 To these he also showed himself alive after he suffered, by many proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking about God’s Kingdom. 4 Being assembled together with them, he commanded them, “Don’t depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which you heard from me. 5 For John indeed baptized in water, but you will be baptized in the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”
6 Thaum cov Hauv Paus Xa Lus nyob ua ke, lawv nug Yes Xus tias “Huab Tais, nyem no puas yog lub sij
hawm koj yuav rov tsa tus vaj His Xas Lais?”
6 Therefore, when they had come together, they asked him, “Lord, are you now restoring the kingdom to Israel?”
7 Yes Xus hais rau lawv tias “Tsis yog nej hauj lwm yuav paub txog lub zim txwv thiab lub sij hawm uas Leej Txiv siv nws lub hwj huam los teem cia. 8 Tab sis, Leej Ntuj Plig Ntshiab yuav nqes los saum nej, ces nej yuav txais hwj huam, nej yuav ua kuv cov tim khawv nyob Yes Lus Xas Les, nyob thoob lub xeev Yus Das, thiab Xas Mas Lias, mus txog puag tim npoo ntiaj teb.”
7 He said to them, “It isn’t for you to know times or seasons which the Father has set within his own authority. 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth.”
9 Yes Xus hais cov lus no tas, nws nce zuj zus ntawm lawv qhov muag. Muaj ib tw huab los thaiv ces lawv tsis pom nws lawm. 10 Thaum Yes Xus nce mus saum ub lawm, mas lawv nyob ntsia ntsoov lub ntuj, ces muaj ob tug neeg hnav tsoos dawb los cuag lawv. 11 Nkawd hais tias “Cov Nkas Lis Lais, vim li cas nej nyob ntsia ntsoov lub ntuj zoo li no? Tus Yes Xus uas Ntuj nqa nws hauv nej mus rau saum ntuj lawd, nws yuav rov los zoo nkaus li nej pom nws nce mus saum ntuj thiab.”
9 When he had said these things, as they were looking, he was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10 While they were looking steadfastly into the sky as he went, behold,* two men stood by them in white clothing, 11 who also said, “You men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who was received up from you into the sky, will come back in the same way as you saw him going into the sky.”
12 Cov thwj tim nqes pem lub roob uas hu ua “Txiv Ntoo Roj” rov mus rau Yes Lus Xas Les. Lub roob ntawd nyob ze ntawm Yes Lus Xas Les li ntu kev uas hnub Xas Npas Tos kheev mus. 13 Thaum lawv rov los txog, lawv nce mus saum chav tsev siab uas yog lawv qhov chaw nyob; muaj Pob Zeb thiab Zam, Yas Kos thiab As Nres, Fis Lis Pos thiab Tos Mas, Npas Tos Los Mas Yos thiab Mas Tais, Yas Kos uas yog As Fas Yos tus tub, thiab Xis Moos Siab Kub, Yus Das uas yog Yas Kos tus tub. 14 Tas lawv cov no sawv daws koom ib lub siab, lawv kub siab teev ntuj. Muaj ob peb tug poj niam nrog lawv thiab. Nyob hauv cov poj niam ntawd, muaj Mab Liab uas yog Yes Xus niam, thiab muaj Yes Xus cov kwv tij.
12 Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mountain called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day’s journey away. 13 When they had come in, they went up into the upper room where they were staying, that is Peter, John, James, Andrew, Philip, Thomas, Bartholomew, Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, Simon the Zealot, and Judas the son of James. 14 All these with one accord continued steadfastly in prayer and supplication, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.
15 Lub caij ntawd, muaj ze ntawm ib puas nees nkaum leej tuaj sib txoos ua ke. Pob Zeb sawv ntsug hauv nruab nrab cov kwv tij, nws hais tias 16 “Kwv tij sawv daws, cov lus uas Leej Ntuj Plig kom sau rau hauv Ntawv Ntshiab yuav tsum tshwm sim tuaj. Leej Ntuj Plig siv Das Vis lub ncauj hais txog Yus Das, uas yog tus coj luag kev tuaj ntes Yes Xus. 17 Yus Das yog ib tug nyob hauv peb. Yes Xus faib ib txog hauj lwm xws li peb txoj rau nws ua. 18 Tab sis tus neeg ntawd muab tus nqi uas tau ntawm nws lub siab tsis ncaj, mus muas ib thaj av. Nws thiaj poob rau hauv pem teb, taub hau ua ntej, yav nruab nrab tawg rhe, nws tej plab hnyuv dhia tas. 19 Tas cov neeg nyob Yes Lus Xas Les paub qhov ntawd, lawv thiaj hu thaj av no hauv lawv xeem lus tias Has Kes Das Mas, txhais tias Teb Ntshav. 20 Ntawv Nkauj Paj Nruag sau tias ‘Cia nws lub tsev nphob xuav mus, kom txhob muaj neeg nyob hauv nws lub tsev.’ Ntawv tseem hais tias ‘Cia lwm tus ua nws cov dej num.’
15 In these days, Peter stood up in the middle of the disciples (and the number of names was about one hundred twenty), and said, 16 “Brothers, it was necessary that this Scripture should be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit spoke before by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who was guide to those who took Jesus. 17 For he was counted with us, and received his portion in this ministry. 18 Now this man obtained a field with the reward for his wickedness; and falling headlong, his body burst open and all his intestines gushed out. 19 It became known to everyone who lived in Jerusalem that in their language that field was called ‘Akeldama,’ that is, ‘The field of blood.’ 20 For it is written in the book of Psalms, ‘Let his habitation be made desolate. Let no one dwell in it;’ and, ‘Let another take his office.’
21 Vim li ntawd, cov neeg uas tau nrog peb ua ke tas lub caij Huab Tais Yes Xus nrog peb mus mus los los, 22 txij hnub Zam ua kab ke ntxuav los txog hnub uas Ntuj nqa nws hauv peb mus lawd, mas yuav tsum muaj ib tug hauv cov neeg ntawd los nrog peb ua tim khawv txog nws txoj kev sawv rov los.”
21 “Of the men therefore who have accompanied us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, 22 beginning from the baptism of John to the day that he was received up from us, of these one must become a witness with us of his resurrection.”
23 Ces lawv coj tau ob leeg los, yog tus Yos Xes Npas Xas Npas, uas sawv daws hu nws ua Zus Tws, thiab Mas Thias. 24 Lawv thov Ntuj li no “Huab Tais, koj paub sawv daws lub siab tas huv si. Thov koj qhia saib tus twg yog tus koj xaiv 25 los leg cov dej num tshaj lus uas Yus Das tso pov tseg, vim nws khiav mus nraim hauv nws qhov chaw.” 26 Ces lawv rho ntawv, txoj hmoo los raug Mas Thias. Lawv thiaj muab nws los ntxiv rau pab Kaum Ib leeg Hauv Paus Xas Lus.
23 They put forward two: Joseph called Barsabbas, who was also called Justus, and Matthias. 24 They prayed and said, “You, Lord, who know the hearts of all men, show which one of these two you have chosen 25 to take part in this ministry and apostleship from which Judas fell away, that he might go to his own place.” 26 They drew lots for them, and the lot fell on Matthias; and he was counted with the eleven apostles.

1 Thaum txog lub Hnub Nyoog Tsib Caug, tas cov thwj tim huv tib si tuaj sib txoos ua ke. 2 Ib sij huam,
txawm muaj ib lub suab nrov saum ntuj tuaj xws li ib nthwv cua hlob hlob ntsawj, lub suab ntawd nrov thoob plaws lub tsev uas lawv nyob. 3 Ces lawv pom tej ntshua nplaim zoo li nplaim taws, ncau ua
tej tus nplaim me ya tuaj tsaws saum cov thwj tim txhua tus. 4 Lawv sawv daws tau txais Leej Ntuj Plig Ntshiab puv hauv lawv, ces lawv pib hais ntau xeem lus raws li Leej Ntuj Plig pub kom lawv hais tau.
1 Now when the day of Pentecost had come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 Suddenly there came from the sky a sound like the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 Tongues like fire appeared and were distributed to them, and one sat on each of them. 4 They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other languages, as the Spirit gave them the ability to speak.
5 Thaum ntawd, muaj ib co Yus Das kub siab ntseeg tuaj ntawm tas cov teb chaws hauv lub qab ntuj khwb tuaj nyob Yes Lus Xas Les. 6 Thaum lawv hnov lub suab nrov, tas ib tsoom neeg tuaj ntsauv
vij vog. Sawv daws ua siab poob nthav vim tias thaum cov thwj tim hais lus, mas lawv nyias hnov hais nyias xeem lus. 7 Lawv ceeb tas nrho, xav tsis thoob, ces lawv hais tias “Tas cov neeg uas hais lus ntawd, lawv tsis yog ib co Nkas Lis Lais lod? 8 Ua li cas peb thiaj nyias hnov lawv hais nyias xeem lus ? 9 Peb yog ib co neeg Pas Tos, Mes Dias, Es Las Mias, peb nyob Mes Xos Pos Tas Mias tuaj, Yus Das, Kas Pas Dos, Poos Tus, As Xias, 10 Fis Zias, Pas Fis Lias, nyob Hais Nkws Tos thiab Lis Npias teb chaws uas ze Xis Les Nas,
peb yog neeg Los Mas tuaj nyob ntawm no. 11 Peb yog ib co Yus Das thiab ib co teev dab txais kev ntseeg, ib co Khes Tas, As Las Npias, peb puav leej hnov lawv hais peb xeem lus cav txog Tswv Ntuj lub
hwj chim.” 12 Tas sawv daws poob siab, lawv xav tsis thoob, lawv thiaj ib leeg hais rau ib leeg tias “Qhov ntawd yog dab tsi?” 13 Tab sis, lwm cov thuam tias “Lawv haus cawv tshiab lawv qaug cawv xwb.”
5 Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under the sky. 6 When this sound was heard, the multitude came together and were bewildered, because everyone heard them speaking in his own language. 7 They were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, “Behold, aren’t all these who speak Galileans? 8 How do we hear, everyone in our own native language? 9 Parthians, Medes, Elamites, and people from Mesopotamia, Judea, Cappadocia, Pontus, Asia, 10 Phrygia, Pamphylia, Egypt, the parts of Libya around Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, 11 Cretans and Arabians—we hear them speaking in our languages the mighty works of God!” 12 They were all amazed and were perplexed, saying to one another, “What does this mean?” 13 Others, mocking, said, “They are filled with new wine.”
14 Pob Zeb nrog Pab Kaum Ib leeg sawv ntsug, nws hais cov lus no nrov nrov tias “Cov Yus Das, thiab tas nej cov uas nyob hauv Yes Lus Xas Les, nej yuav tsum paub qhov no, nej tig ntsej los mloog kuv cov lus mog. 15 Cov neeg no tsis qaug cawv zoo li nej hais. Vim tias nyuam qhuav txog cuaj teev sawv ntxov xwb.
16 Qhov tshwm sim no yog qhov uas Yaj Saub Yos Es tau hais tias: 17 Tswv Ntuj hais tias thaum txog hnub kawg, kuv yuav tso kuv lub Tswv Yim los rau saum txhua leej txhua tus uas muaj lub cev nqaij. Ces nej cov tub cov ntxhais yuav ua yaj saub. Nej cov hluas yuav yees pom tej yam qhov muag pom tsis tau. Nej cov laus yuav ua tej zaj npau suav. 18 Hnub ntawd, kuv yuav tso kuv lub Tswv Yim nqes los rau saum kuv cov tub txib ntxhais txib, ces lawv yuav ua yaj saub. 19 Kuv yuav ua ib co hwj huam loj nyob saum ntuj, thiab ua ib co cim nyob hauv ntiaj teb uas zoo li ntshav, zoo li hluav taws, thiab zoo li ncej pa taws. 20 Lub hnub yuav tsaus ntuj nti tuaj, lub hli yuav hloov ua ntshav. Ces thaum ntawd txog Huab Tais Hnub. Yog hnub loj thiab nto koob meej. 21 Ces leej twg hu txog Huab Tais lub npe, mas nws yuav txais kev cawm.
14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice and spoke out to them, “You men of Judea and all you who dwell at Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and listen to my words. 15 For these aren’t drunken, as you suppose, seeing it is only the third hour of the day. 16 But this is what has been spoken through the prophet Joel: 17 ‘It will be in the last days, says God, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions. Your old men will dream dreams. 18 Yes, and on my servants and on my handmaidens in those days, I will pour out my Spirit, and they will prophesy. 19 I will show wonders in the sky above, and signs on the earth beneath: blood, and fire, and billows of smoke. 20 The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and glorious day of the Lord comes. 21 It will be that whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.’
22 “Cov His Xas Lais, nej mloog cov lus no mog! Yes Xus Nas Xas Les yog tus uas Tswv Ntuj pom zoo kom nws ua hwj huam yees ntxwv, ua cov dej num nto moo, thiab ua ib co cim nyob hauv nej. Yog Tswv Ntuj pub kom nws ua tau li ntawd. 23 Tus neeg ntawd, luag muab nws muag rau nej, raws nraim li Tswv Ntuj tau teem tseg nyob hauv nws txoj kev paub yav tom ntej. Nej kom cov neeg tsis hwm txoj cai xuas lawv txhais tes mus tua nws, thiab muab nws ntsia saum ntoo cuam. 24 Tswv Ntuj tsa nws sawv rov los, thiab npo nws ntawm txoj kev mob hauv qhov tuag. Vim tias kev tuag tsis muaj hwj huam tuav tau nws cia.
25 Das Vis twb hais txog nws tias ‘Kuv pom Huab Tais nyob ntawm kuv xub ntiag tsis tseg. Huab Tais nyob ntawm kuv sab xis, kom kuv txhob qaij txhob qaug. 26 Yog vim li ntawd kuv lub plawv thiaj xyiv fab hlo, kuv tus nplaig hom khaj. Kuv cev nqaij muaj sia nyob hauv txoj kev tso siab. 27 Vim koj yuav tsis tso kuv tus plig pov tseg rau hauv ntuj txias teb tsaus, koj yuav tsis cia koj tus Ntshiab lub cev lwj. 28 Koj ua kom kuv paub cov kev mus hauv txoj sia. Koj cia kuv pom koj lub ntsej muag kom kuv xyiv fab.’
22 “Men of Israel, hear these words! Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved by God to you by mighty works and wonders and signs which God did by him among you, even as you yourselves know, 23 him, being delivered up by the determined counsel and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by the hand of lawless men, crucified and killed; 24 whom God raised up, having freed him from the agony of death, because it was not possible that he should be held by it. 25 For David says concerning him, ‘I saw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved. 26 Therefore my heart was glad, and my tongue rejoiced. Moreover my flesh also will dwell in hope, 27 because you will not leave my soul in Hades, neither will you allow your Holy One to see decay. 28 You made known to me the ways of life. You will make me full of gladness with your presence.’
29 Kwv tij sawv daws, kuv thov hais meej rau nej txog tus yawg koob Das Vis tias nws tuag thiab nws mus zwm av lawm. Nws lub ntxa tseem nyob rau peb pom txog niaj hnub no. 30 Tiam sis Das Vis yog ib tug yaj saub, mas nws paub tias Tswv Ntuj twb cog lus rau nws yuav cia nws ib tug xeeb ntxwv uas yog nws
cov roj ntsha zaum nws lub theej kiab. 31 Das Vis twb xub pom tias Leej Pleev yuav sawv rov los, ces nws thiaj qhia tias Ntuj yuav tsis tso nws pov tseg rau hauv tub tuag teb, thiab nws lub cev nqaij yuav tsis lwj.
32 Tus Yes Xus ntawd, Tswv Ntuj tsa nws sawv rov los lawm. Peb ua taus tim khawv. 33 Nyem no Tswv Ntuj sab xis tsa Yes Xus nyob siab. Nws tau txais Leej Ntuj Plig Ntshiab ntawm Leej Txiv, vim Leej Txiv yeej tau cog lus li ntawd. Yes Xus thiaj tso Leej Ntuj Plig los rau sawv daws yog qhov uas nej pom thiab nej hnov. 34 Das Vis mas nws tsis tau nce mus saum ntuj. Tsis kav nws tau hais tias ‘Huab Tais hais rau kuv tus Huab
Tais tias “Koj zaum ntawm kuv sab xis, 35 mus txog thaum kuv muab koj cov yeeb ncuab los ua rooj rau koj tiag taw.”‘
29 “Brothers, I may tell you freely of the patriarch David, that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. 30 Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, he would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne, 31 he foreseeing this, spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that his soul wasn’t left in Hades, and his flesh didn’t see decay. 32 This Jesus God raised up, to which we all are witnesses. 33 Being therefore exalted by the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this which you now see and hear. 34 For David didn’t ascend into the heavens, but he says himself, ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit by my right hand 35 until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.” ’
36 “Tsoom His Xas Lais, nej yuav paub meej tias : Tswv Ntuj tsa tus Yes Xus uas nej tau dai saum ntoo cuam, ua Huab Tais thiab ua Leej Pleev.”
36 “Let all the house of Israel therefore know certainly that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.”
37 Cov lus ntawd raug sawv daws lub siab. Ces lawv hais rau Pob Zeb thiab rau cov Hauv Paus Xa Lus tias “Kwv tij, peb yuav ua dab tsi?”
37 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”
38 Pob Zeb teb rau lawv tias “Nej yuav thov txhaum, thiab nej txhia leej txhia tus yuav txais lub cim ntxuav nyob hauv Yes Xus Pleev lub npe kom Ntuj zam txhaum rau nej. Ces nej yuav txais Leej Ntuj Plig Ntshiab cov paj tshab. 39 Vim thaum Ntuj cog lus, mas yog nws cog lus yuav muab rau nej, thiab rau nej cov me nyuam, rau cov neeg nyob deb, thiab rau tsoom neeg coob coob uas Huab Tais peb tus Tswv Ntuj yuav hu lawv los.” 40 Pob Zeb tseem hais ntau lo lus qhuab qhia thiab ntuas lawv. Nws hais tias “Nej khiav kom nej dim ntawm tiam neeg xib rau kev phem no.”
38 Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are far off, even as many as the Lord our God will call to himself.” 40 With many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation!”
41 Cov neeg ntawd mloog Pob Zeb cov lus, lawv txais lub cim ntxuav. Hnub ntawd, muaj ze ntawm peb txhiab leej los ntxiv cov thwj tim. 42 Lawv nquag tuaj mloog cov Hauv Paus Xa Lus qhia lawv. Sawv daws
koom siab ua ib pab kwv tij, ua kab ke lov ncuav mov thiab teev ntuj ua ke. 43 Tas tsoom sid hwm, vim cov Hauv Paus Xa Lus ua ntau hom dej num zoo kawg thiab ua ib co cim ntau. 44 Cov ntseeg muab lawv lub cuab tam los tso ua ke. 45 Lawv muab lawv tej cuab yeej cuab tam muag, lawv muab tus nqi los faib rau sawv daws raws li nyias tej chaw siv. 46 Lawv niaj hnub koom ua ib lub siab, lawv nquag mus tom lub Tuam Tsev Teev Ntuj. Lawv ua kab ke ntais ncuav mov nyob hauv lawv cov tsev, sawv daws noj luag ntxhwb ntxhi, nyob muaj siab kaj lug. 47 Lawv cav lus zoo txog Tswv Ntuj. Tsoom pej xeem pom lawv zoo. Huab Tais niaj hnub coj cov neeg uas Ntuj cawm tau lawv los ntxiv rau lub txoos.
41 Then those who gladly received his word were baptized. There were added that day about three thousand souls. 42 They continued steadfastly in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and prayer. 43 Fear came on every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. 44 All who believed were together, and had all things in common. 45 They sold their possessions and goods, and distributed them to all, according as anyone had need. 46 Day by day, continuing steadfastly with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread at home, they took their food with gladness and singleness of heart, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. The Lord added to the assembly day by day those who were being saved.

1 Pob Zeb thiab Zam nkawd nce mus pem lub Tuam Tsev Teev Ntuj, mus ua zaj teev ntuj thaum teev cuaj.
2 Thaum ntawd, luag coj ib tug neeg tuag ceg nruab thiab tuaj. Lawv niaj hnub muab nws tso rau ntawm lub qhov rooj mus hauv lub Tuam Tsev Teev Ntuj, uas hu ua Zoo Nkauj, kom tus tuag ceg tau kev thov khawv ntawm cov neeg uas chaws mus hauv. 3 Thaum nws pom Pob Zeb thiab Zam nkawd tab tom yuav
chaws mus hauv, ces nws thov khawv ntawm nkawd. 4 Pob Zeb ntsia ntsoov nws, Zam kuj ntsia ntsoov thiab. Pob Zeb hais tias “Koj ntsia wb.” 5 Tus tuag ceg ntsia ntsoov nkawd, tsis ntsais muag, nws xav tias nws yuav tau ib yam dab tsi. 6 Tab sis Pob Zeb hais tias “Nyiaj thiab kub mas kuv tsis muaj. Tab sis qhov kuv muaj, mas kuv muab pub rau koj, Kuv tuav txog Yes Xus Pleev, tus Nas Xas Les lub npe, koj mus kev!” 7 Ces Pob Zeb tuav nkaus tus tuag ceg sab tes xis, rub nws sawv. Tam sim ntawd, nws ob txhais taw thiab nws ob lub pob luj taws ruaj nrees tuaj. 8 Nws tib plhaw, sawv tsees, ces nws mus taus kev. Nws nrog nkawd chaws mus hauv lub Tuam Tsev. Nws rhais ruam mus kev, nws dhia tej paj paws thiab nws cav

Sawv daws ntshai, ua siab poob nthav txog qhov uas nyuam qhuav tshwm sim tuaj rau tus tuag ceg. 11 Tus tuag ceg tsis tso Pob Zeb thiab Zam nkawd tseg li. Ces tas tsoom pej xeem ntshai, lawv khiav tuaj vij nkawd nyob hauv lub qab ruv tsev uas hu ua Xas Los Moos.
1 Peter and John were going up into the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.* 2 A certain man who was lame from his mother’s womb was being carried, whom they laid daily at the door of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask gifts for the needy of those who entered into the temple. 3 Seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked to receive gifts for the needy. 4 Peter, fastening his eyes on him, with John, said, “Look at us.” 5 He listened to them, expecting to receive something from them. 6 But Peter said, “I have no silver or gold, but what I have, that I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!” 7 He took him by the right hand and raised him up. Immediately his feet and his ankle bones received strength. 8 Leaping up, he stood and began to walk. He entered with them into the temple, walking, leaping, and praising God. 9 All the people saw him walking and praising God. 10 They recognized him, that it was he who used to sit begging for gifts for the needy at the Beautiful Gate of the temple. They were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him. 11 As the lame man who was healed held on to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering.
12 Pob Zeb pom li ntawd, nws hais rau tsoom pej xeem hais tias “Cov His Xas Lais, vim li cas nej poob
siab rau qhov ntawd? Vim li cas nej qhov muag ntsia ntsoov rau peb, xws li peb yog neeg muaj hwj huam thiab txawj thov Ntuj, ua kom tus neeg ntawd mus taus kev? 13 Yog Has Nplas Has, His Xas Has, thiab Yas Kos tus Tswv Ntuj, thiab peb cov yawg koob tus Tswv Ntuj muab koob meej rau nws tus tub txib Yes Xus, uas nej muab nws ntes. Thaum Pis Las Tos xav tso nws mus, mas nej tsis kam lees nws. 14 Nej tsis lees tus siab Ntshiab thiab siab Ncaj. Nej thov kom luag zam rau ib tug tua neeg. 15 Hos nej muab tus Tswv pub txoj sia tua. Tiam sis Tswv Ntuj tsa nws sawv hauv cov tub tuag rov los lawm. Peb ua tim khawv pom. 16 Yog vim peb ntseeg txog nws lub npe, mas nws lub npe thiaj li ua kom tus neeg ntawd muaj zog, uas yog tus nej pom kam nws thiab paub nws. Yog txoj kev ntseeg txog Yes Xus tsa tus neeg ntawd kom nws lub cev zoo hlo rau ntawm nej xub ntiag.
12 When Peter saw it, he responded to the people, “You men of Israel, why do you marvel at this man? Why do you fasten your eyes on us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made him walk? 13 The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his Servant Jesus, whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he had determined to release him. 14 But you denied the Holy and Righteous One and asked for a murderer to be granted to you, 15 and killed the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, to which we are witnesses. 16 By faith in his name, his name has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which is through him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
17 Kwv tij sawv daws, kuv paub hais tias thaum nej ua li ntawd, nej yeej tsis paub dab tsi. Nej cov nom los kuj tsis paub thiab. 18 Li ntawd, Tswv Ntuj ua raws li nws tau xuas cov Yaj Saub lub ncauj xub hais ntxov los tias nws Leej Pleev yuav raug luag tsim.
17 “Now, brothers,† I know that you did this in ignorance, as did also your rulers. 18 But the things which God announced by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he thus fulfilled.
19 Ua li mas nyem no, nej yuav thov txhaum thiab nej yuav tig los hloov ib lub siab tshiab kom Ntuj so nej cov txhaum. 20 Ces Huab Tais yuav pub ib co sij hawm zam rau sawv daws, thiab nws yuav xa tus uas nws ib txwm npaj cia ua Leej Pleev tuaj rau nej. Yes Xus, 21 tus uas lub ntuj yuav tau txais nws mus txog lub zim txwv tas txhia yam yuav rov plhis dua tshiab. Raws li Tswv Ntuj xuas nws cov yaj saub ntshiab lub ncauj xub qhia thaum ub. 22 Mais Xes xub hais tias Huab Tais Tswv Ntuj yuav muab nej ib tug kwv tij
tsa ua Yaj Saub xws li kuv. Nej yuav mloog tas puas tsav yam nws qhia rau nej. 23 Leej twg tsis mloog tus Yaj Saub ntawd, mas luag yuav muab nws thau ntawm peb haiv neeg mus. 24 Tas cov yaj saub tom qab no, txij Xas Muas los rau cov hloov nws, sawv daws kuj tau hais txog tej yam uas tshwm sim ob peb hnub no. 25 Nej yog cov yaj saub ntawd cov tub. Nej yog cov neeg txais lo lus Tswv Ntuj cog rau peb cov yawg koob, raws li Tswv Ntuj hais rau Has Nplas Has tias tas ib tsoom haiv neeg nyob ntiaj teb no yuav tau txais ib txog hmoov zoo nyob hauv koj cov xeeb zeej xeeb ntxwv. 26 Yog vim nej, mas Tswv Ntuj thiaj tsa nws Leej Tub sawv rov los, thiab Tswv Ntuj tso nws tuaj foom hmoov zoo rau nej thiab pab nej ncaim ntawm nej txoj kev phem.”
19 “Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord, 20 and that he may send Christ Jesus, who was ordained for you before, 21 whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God spoke long ago by the mouth of his holy prophets. 22 For Moses indeed said to the fathers, ‘The Lord God will raise up a prophet for you from among your brothers, like me. You shall listen to him in all things whatever he says to you. 23 It will be that every soul that will not listen to that prophet will be utterly destroyed from among the people.’✡ 24 Yes, and all the prophets from Samuel and those who followed after, as many as have spoken, also told of these days. 25 You are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘All the families of the earth will be blessed through your offspring.’‡✡ 26 God, having raised up his servant Jesus, sent him to you first to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your wickedness.”

1 Pob Zeb thiab Zam nkawd tseem tab tom hais lus rau tsoom pej xeem, ces cov leej choj, tus tswj lub Tsev Txoos, thiab cov Xas Dus Kais tuaj txog. 2 Lawv tsis zoo siab rau qhov tias nkawd qhia tsoom sid thiab nkawd tshaj tias neeg tuag yuav sawv rov los xws li Yes Xus. 3 Lawv ntes nkawd thiab coj nkawd mus
kaw hauv tsev loj faj txog kaj ntug, vim thaum ntawd twb tsaus ntuj lawm. 4 Tiam sis muaj ntau leej uas tau hnov nkawd lo lus kuj txais kev ntseeg. Tsuas suav cov txiv neej xwb, cov ntseeg muaj nto tsib txhiab leej.
1 As they spoke to the people, the priests and the captain of the temple and the Sadducees came to them, 2 being upset because they taught the people and proclaimed in Jesus the resurrection from the dead. 3 They laid hands on them, and put them in custody until the next day, for it was now evening. 4 But many of those who heard the word believed, and the number of the men came to be about five thousand.
5 Hnub tom qab, cov nom tswv Yus Das, cov laus neeg, thiab cov kws ntawv, sawv daws tuaj sib sau nyob Yes Lus Xas Les. 6 Tus thawj leej choj As Nas kuj nyob ntawd, Kais Fas, Yos Nas Thas, As Les Xas Nrias thiab cov uas yog caj ces ua leej choj puav leej tuaj nyob ntawd tas huv tib si. 7 Lawv kom luag coj ob tug Hauv Paus Xa Lus los, ces lawv nug nkawd tias “Leej twg muab cai rau neb, thiab neb tuav txog leej twg lub npe los ua tej ntawd?”
5 In the morning, their rulers, elders, and scribes were gathered together in Jerusalem. 6 Annas the high priest was there, with Caiaphas, John, Alexander, and as many as were relatives of the high priest. 7 When they had stood Peter and John in the middle of them, they inquired, “By what power, or in what name, have you done this?”
8 Ces Pob Zeb muaj Leej Ntuj Plig nyob puv hauv nws, nws hais rau lawv tias “Cov nom tswv coj tsoom pej xeem, thiab tsoom laus neeg sawv daws. 9 Hnub no, nej kom wb hais tseeb txog qhov tias ib tug tuag ceg zoo lawm, thiab tim li cas nws thiaj li zoo lawm. 10 Nej sawv daws, thiab tas tsoom His Xas Lais huv
tib si, nej yuav paub tias tus neeg uas zoo hlo rau nej pom ntawd, mas yog vim Yes Xus Pleev lub npe. Yog tus Yes Xus Nas Xas Les uas nej muab dai saum ntoo cuam, tab sis Tswv Ntuj tsa nws sawv hauv cov tub tuag rov los. Yog vim Yes Xus lub npe xwb, tsis yog vim lwm tus. 11 Yes Xus yog lub pob zeb uas nej cov
txhim tsev tsis xav yuav. Zaum no nws yog thawj lub pob zeb txheem lub tsev. 12 Vim nyob hauv lub qab ntuj khwb tsis muaj dua lwm lub npe yuav cawm tau peb.”
8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “You rulers of the people and elders of Israel, 9 if we are examined today concerning a good deed done to a crippled man, by what means this man has been healed, 10 may it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, this man stands here before you whole in him. 11 He is ‘the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.’✡ 12 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”
13 Cov nom txiav txim pom Pob Zeb thiab Zam nkawd lub siab tawv, thiab lawv pom tias nkawd yog neeg tsis tau kawm txuj ci, thiab tsis muaj kev txawj ntse, ces cov kev txwj laus neeg ua siab poob nthav. Lawv kuj rov zeem tau tias nkawd yog cov uas tau nrog Yes Xus ua ke. 14 Ib ziag ntawd, lawv kuj pom tus neeg uas nkawd kho zoo, sawv ntsug nyob ze nkawd. Ces lawv tsis pom qab teb dab tsi. 15 Lawv kom coj nkawd tawm ntawm lub tsev txiav txim mus, ces lawv mam sab laj ua ke hais tias 16 “Peb yuav ua dab tsi rau ob tug neeg ntawd? Qhov tias nkawd tau ua ib yam hwj huam yees ntxwv loj kawg, mas tas cov neeg nyob Yes Lus Xas Les paub tas lawm, peb dag tsis tau tias nkawd tsis tau ua. 17 Tiam sis yuav kom cov pej xeem tsis txhob ntseeg zuj zus ntxiv, mas peb yuav txwv nkawd, tsis pub nkawd hais txog lub Npe ntawd ntxiv rau leej twg li.” 18 Ces lawv hu Pob Zeb thiab Zam nkawd rov los, lawv txwv tsis kheev nkawd hais dab tsi.
13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and had perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled. They recognized that they had been with Jesus. 14 Seeing the man who was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it. 15 But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves, 16 saying, “What shall we do to these men? Because indeed a notable miracle has been done through them, as can be plainly seen by all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we can’t deny it. 17 But so that this spreads no further among the people, let’s threaten them, that from now on they don’t speak to anyone in this name.” 18 They called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.
19 Tiam sis Pob Zeb thiab Zam nkawd teb hais tias “Yog nej thiaj paub txiav saib Tswv Ntuj pom zoo wb mloog nej, los wb mloog Tswv Ntuj. 20 Hos wb, mas yog wb tsis tshaj tej yam wb tau pom tau hnov mas
wb nyob tsis taus.”
19 But Peter and John answered them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, judge for yourselves, 20 for we can’t help telling the things which we saw and heard.”
21 Cov nom tswv tseem hem nkawd ntxiv, ces lawv tso nkawd mus, lawv tsis pom qab muab txim dab tsi rau nkawd, vim lawv ntshai cov pej xeem. Sawv daws cav txog Tswv Ntuj rau tej yam tshwm sim tuaj. 22 Tus neeg mob uas nkawd ua hwj huam yees ntxwv kho zoo muaj plaub caug tawm xyoo lawm.
21 When they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding no way to punish them, because of the people; for everyone glorified God for that which was done. 22 For the man on whom this miracle of healing was performed was more than forty years old.
23 Thaum lawv tso Pob Zeb thiab Zam nkawd lawm, mas nkawd rov qab los nrog cov kwv tij nyob. Nkawd piav tej yam uas cov leej choj thiab cov txwj laus tau hais. 24 Sawv daws hnov li ntawd mas sawv daws tsa suab thov Tswv Ntuj tias “Tswv Huab Tais, koj yog tus tsim lub ntuj lub teb, lub hiav txwv thiab tas ib puas tsav yam nyob hauv. 25 Yog koj nrog Leej Ntuj Plig Ntshiab qhia peb txiv Das Vis, koj tus tub txib, kom nws hais tias “Vim li cas tsoom kuj cuab yuav ua ntxhov hnyo, tsoom haiv neeg yuav xav txog tej yam tsis muaj tsim? 26 Cov vaj nyob ntiaj teb sawv ntxeev siab, cov thawj coj ua tej pab tuav xam nrhiav kev tawm
tsam tiv Huab Tais thiab nws Leej Pleev.”
23 Being let go, they came to their own company and reported all that the chief priests and the elders had said to them. 24 When they heard it, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord and said, “O Lord, you are God, who made the sky, the earth, the sea, and all that is in them; 25 who by the mouth of your servant David, said, ‘Why do the nations rage, and the peoples plot a vain thing? 26 The kings of the earth take a stand, and the rulers plot together, against the Lord, and against his Christ.’
27 Nyob hauv lub nroog no, Hes Los thiab Poos Xyus Pis Las Tos nrog cov pej kum haiv neeg thiab nrog cov haiv neeg His Xas Lais sib koom ua rog rau koj Leej Tub Txib Ntshiab Yes Xus uas koj tau Pleev nws. 28 Lawv tsuas kawg ua raws li koj lub hwj huam, koj txhais tes thiab koj lub tswv yim tau teem puag ntxov los. 29 Huab Tais, nyem no koj ntsia saib lawv hem peb. Yog koj xav pab koj cov tub txib kom lawv muaj lub siab ruaj nreb tshaj koj lo lus, 30 mas thov koj cev tes los ua hwj huam yees ntxwv kho cov neeg mob, thiab ua tej yam txawv nyob hauv koj Leej Tub Txib Ntshiab Yes Xus lub npe.”
27 “For truly,† both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together against your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed, 28 to do whatever your hand and your counsel foreordained to happen. 29 Now, Lord, look at their threats, and grant to your servants to speak your word with all boldness, 30 while you stretch out your hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of your holy Servant Jesus.”
31 Thaum lawv tab tom teev ntuj, mas qhov chaw lawv nyob qeeg nkaws. Leej Ntuj Plig Ntshiab los nyob puv lawv siab ntsws. Lawv rov ua siab ruaj nreb tshaj Tswv Ntuj lo lus.
31 When they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were gathered together. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.
32 Tas ib tsoom ntseeg coob coob sawv daws muaj ib lub siab, ib lub tswv yim xwb. Tej yam uas yog nws li, tsis kav tsis muaj leej twg yuav hais tias yog nws tug xwb. Nyias muab nyias tug los ua sawv daws tug. 33 Cov Hauv Paus Xa Lus muaj hwj huam loj, lawv ua tim khawv txog Huab Tais Yes Xus sawv rov los. Tsoom sid pom lawv zoo kawg. 34 Nyob hauv lawv, tsis muaj ib tug yuav tshaib nqhis dab tsi vim tias cov uas muaj liaj muaj teb, muaj vaj tse, muab muag tas huv si, 35 lawv nqa tus nqi uas muag tau tuaj tso ntawm cov Hauv Paus Xa Lus ko taw. Lawv mam muab faib rau sawv daws kom nyias tau txaus nyias siv.
32 The multitude of those who believed were of one heart and soul. Not one of them claimed that anything of the things which he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. 33 With great power, the apostles gave their testimony of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. Great grace was on them all. 34 For neither was there among them any who lacked, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold, 35 and laid them at the apostles’ feet; and distribution was made to each, according as anyone had need.
36 Muaj ib tug hu ua Yos Xes, cov Hauv Paus Xa Lus hu nws ua Npas Nas Npes – lub npe no txhais tias tus txawj nplij neeg. Nws yog xeem Les Vis, nws yug los nyob Kws Plos. 37 Npas Nas Npes muaj ib daim teb, nws muab muag, nws coj cov nyiaj tuaj tso ntawm cov Hauv Paus Xa Lus ko taw.
36 Joses, who by the apostles was also called Barnabas (which is, being interpreted, Son of Encouragement), a Levite, a man of Cyprus by race, 37 having a field, sold it and brought the money and laid it at the apostles’ feet.

1 Muaj ib tug neeg hu ua As Nas Nias. Nws nrog nws poj niam Xas Fis hais haum tas, ces nkawd muab
nkawd lub vaj muag. 2 Tiam sis nkawd zais ib nrab nqi cia. Tus txiv mam li nqa qhov seem tuaj tso ntawm cov Hauv Paus Xa Lus ko taw. 3 Pob Zeb hais rau nws tias “As Nas Nias, vim li cas Xas Tas nyob puv hauv koj lub siab, koj thiaj dag Leej Ntuj Plig Ntshiab, thiab koj nyiag qee cov nyiaj nqi vaj ib nrab? 4 Koj tsis muaj cai cia daim teb ntawd rau koj los ua cas? Tab yog koj muab muag tas, koj ceev tus nqi tas huv si rau koj yuav kuj tau. Vim li cas koj lub siab thiaj yuav xav tau phem tas npaum li ntawd ? Koj dag li ntawd
mas tsis yog koj dag rau neeg, yog koj dag rau Tswv Ntuj.”
1 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, 2 and kept back part of the price, his wife also being aware of it, then brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles’ feet. 3 But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back part of the price of the land? 4 While you kept it, didn’t it remain your own? After it was sold, wasn’t it in your power? How is it that you have conceived this thing in your heart? You haven’t lied to men, but to God.”
5 Thaum As Nas Nias hnov cov lus ntawd, nws cia li ntog, nws txoj sia tu nrho. Cov neeg hnov lub moo ntawd, sawv daws ntshai. 6 Cov tub hluas tuaj muab lub cev qhwv thiab coj mus los. 7 As Nas Nias twb tuag tas tau peb teev, nws poj niam mam lawv qab tuaj txog. Nws tsis paub dab tsi txog nws tus txiv.
8 Pob Zeb hu nws tias “Koj hais rau kuv saib, neb muag neb daim teb tau npaum no lod?” Tus poj niam teb tias “Yog tiag, wb muag tau npaum li ntawd.”
5 Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and died. Great fear came on all who heard these things. 6 The young men arose and wrapped him up, and they carried him out and buried him. 7 About three hours later, his wife, not knowing what had happened, came in. 8 Peter answered her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for so much.” She said, “Yes, for so much.”
9 Ces Pob Zeb hais rau nws tias “Tim li cas neb yuav tuav xam dag Huab Tais lub Tswv Yim ? Koj saib ! cov neeg uas kwv koj tus txiv mus faus, lawv txhais taw twb los txog ntawm qhov rooj lawm. Lawv yuav kwv koj mus thiab.”
9 But Peter asked her, “How is it that you have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.”
10 Tus poj niam vau hlo Tam sim ntawd rau ntawm Pob Zeb ko taw, nws txoj sia tu nrho. Cov tub hluas los txog, lawv pom nws twb tuag lawm; lawv kwv nws mus faus rau ntawm nws tus txiv. 11 Tas lub Koom Txoos thiab cov neeg tau hnov lub moo ntawd, sawv daws ntshai kawg.
10 She fell down immediately at his feet and died. The young men came in and found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her by her husband. 11 Great fear came on the whole assembly, and on all who heard these things.
12 Ntuj siv cov Hauv Paus Xa Lus ob txhais tes los ua ntau lub cim thiab ntau yam hwj huam yees ntxwv nyob hauv tsoom pej xeem. Cov ntseeg koom siab koom ntsws tuaj nyob hauv lub qab ruv tsev Xas Los Moos. 13 Tsis muaj leej twg muaj cuab kav tuaj nrog lawv ua ke. Tab sis tsoom pej xeem cav lus zoo txog
lawv. 14 Cov ntseeg los ntxiv coob zuj zus rau Huab Tais, tej pab txiv neej thiab poj niam coob kawg, 15 ces lawv coj cov neeg mob tuaj tso ntawm kev, lawv tso cov mob pw saum tej lub txaj thiab tej daim lev, kom thaum Pob Zeb hla los mus, nws tus duab ntxoov tus puav neeg mob. 16 Tsoom neeg coob coob ntawd tuaj ntawm cov zos tsis deb ntawm Yes Lus Xas Les tuaj. Lawv coj cov neeg mob thiab cov neeg raug dab tsis huv tuaj. Sawv daws puav leej zoo tas huv si.
12 By the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. They were all with one accord in Solomon’s porch. 13 None of the rest dared to join them; however, the people honored them. 14 More believers were added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women. 15 They even carried out the sick into the streets and laid them on cots and mattresses, so that as Peter came by, at least his shadow might overshadow some of them. 16 The multitude also came together from the cities around Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits; and they were all healed.
17 Tus thawj leej choj thiab nws cov tub ncig uas yog tog Xas Dus Kais, sawv tuaj cuam tshuam. Lawv khib kawg, 18 ces lawv ntes cov Hauv Paus Xa Lus coj mus pov rau hauv tsev loj faj. 19 Tab sis hmo ntuj, Huab Tais tus Tshiab qhib cov qhov rooj hauv tsev loj faj, nws coj lawv tawm sab nraud, ces nws hais rau lawv tias 20 “Nej ua siab tawv qhawv mus tshaj cov lus muaj Txoj Sia rau tsoom pej xeem nyob hauv lub Tuam Tsev Teev Ntuj.”
17 But the high priest rose up, and all those who were with him (which is the sect of the Sadducees), and they were filled with jealousy 18 and laid hands on the apostles, then put them in public custody. 19 But an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors by night, and brought them out and said, 20 “Go stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.”
21 Cov Hauv Paus Xa Lus ua raws li cov lus ntawd, thaum kaj ntug txoog, lawv chaws mus hauv lub Tuam Tsev Teev Ntuj, ces lawv pib qhia. Thaum ntawd, tus thawj leej choj nrog nws cov tub ncig tuaj txog. Lawv hu cov txwj laus Xas Nes Nrees thiab lub rooj sab laj laus neeg hauv cov tub His Xas Lais tas hu si tuaj. Ces luag tso neeg mus coj cov Hauv Paus Xa Lus tom tsev loj faj los. 22 Tab sis thaum cov zov keeb mus txog tom chaw, lawv tsis pom cov Hauv Paus Xa Lus nyob hauv tsev loj faj. Lawv thiaj rov los ceeb toom tias 23 “Peb pom lub tsev loj faj kaw zoo, hos cov zov keeb nyob rawv ntawm cov rooj loog. Tab sis thaum peb qhib qhov rooj, peb tsis pom leej twg nyob sab hauv li.”
21 When they heard this, they entered into the temple about daybreak and taught. But the high priest and those who were with him came and called the council together, with all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought. 22 But the officers who came didn’t find them in the prison. They returned and reported, 23 “We found the prison shut and locked, and the guards standing before the doors, but when we opened them, we found no one inside!”
24 Tus tswj zov lub Tuam Tsev Teev Ntuj thiab cov thawj leej choj hnov cov lus ntawd, lawv nyob hab nuv tsis to taub tias qhov ntawd yog vim li cas. 25 Ces txawm muaj ib tug neeg tuaj ceeb toom rau lawv tias “Cov neeg uas nej muab kaw hauv tsev loj faj, mas nyem no lawv nyob hauv lub Tuam Tsev Teev Ntuj qhia tsoom pej xeem.” 26 Tus tswj zov lub Tuam Tsev thiaj nrog nws cov neeg mus coj cov Hauv Paus Xa Lus rov los. Lawv tsis ua phem rau cov Hauv Paus Xa Lus, vim lawv ntshai tsam tsoom pej xeem muab pob
zeb los tua lawv.
24 Now when the high priest, the captain of the temple, and the chief priests heard these words, they were very perplexed about them and what might become of this. 25 One came and told them, “Behold, the men whom you put in prison are in the temple, standing and teaching the people.” 26 Then the captain went with the officers, and brought them without violence, for they were afraid that the people might stone them.
27 Lawv coj los txog, lawv kom cov Hauv Paus Xa Lus mus sawv ntawm cov txwj laus Xas Nes Nrees xub ntiag. Tus Thawj leej choj nug cov Hauv Paus Xa Lus tias 28 “Peb twb txwv nej, tsis kheev nej siv lub npe ntawd los qhia. Tab sis nej tseem qhia nej zaj ntawd mus thoob Yes Lus Xas Les. Nej puas xav kom tus neeg ntawd cov ntshav rov qab poob los rau saum peb?”
27 When they had brought them, they set them before the council. The high priest questioned them, 28 saying, “Didn’t we strictly command you not to teach in this name? Behold, you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and intend to bring this man’s blood on us.”
29 Ces Pob Zeb nrog cov Hauv Paus Xa Lus teb tias “Yuav tsum mloog Tswv Ntuj lus zoo dua mloog neeg lus. 30 Tus Yes Xus uas nej muab nws dai saum ib tug ncej kom tuag, mas peb cov yawg koob tus Huab Tais tsa nws sawv rov los lawm. 31 Nws yog tus uas Tswv Ntuj txhais tes xis tsa nws siab kom nws ua tus Thawj thiab tus Cawm Seej. Yog vim nws, mas Tswv Ntuj thiaj pub txoj kev thov txhaum thiab kev zam txhaum rau His Xas Lais. 32 Peb yog cov tim khawv pom tej yam ntawd. Leej Ntuj Plig Ntshiab uas Tswv Ntuj pub rau cov neeg mloog nws lus kuj ua tim khawv txog tej yam ntawd thiab.”
29 But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men. 30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom you killed, hanging him on a tree. 31 God exalted him with his right hand to be a Prince and a Savior, to give repentance to Israel, and remission of sins. 32 We are his witnesses of these things; and so also is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.”
33 Lawv hnov li ntawd mas lawv npau taws kawg, lawv npaj yuav muab cov Hauv Paus Xa Lus tua. 34 Ces ib tug Fas Lis Xais hu ua Nkas Mas Lias sawv hauv cov txwj laus Xas Nes Nrees. Nws yog ib tug kws Txoj Cai uas tas tsoom pej xeem hwm. Nws hais kom coj cov Hauv Paus Xa Lus tawm mus ib pliag. 35 Ces nws hais rau cov txwj laus Xas Nes Nrees tias “Cov His Xas Lais, nej yuav xyuam xim rau tej yam nej ua rau cov neeg ntawd. 36 Tau tsis ntev muaj ib tug hu ua Thaws Das. Nws hais tias nws yog ib tug loj. Nws sau tau kwv yees plaub puas leej neeg. Tab sis nws raug luag tua tuag, ces nws cov neeg tawg tas, tsis tshuav ib tug li. 37 Tom qab no, lub zim txwv txheeb tsoom mej hwm, mas Yus Das tus uas nyob Nkas Lis Lais kuj sawv. Nws coj tau coob leej raws nws qab. Nws kuj tuag thiab, ces cov neeg uas raws nws tawg tas. 38 Ua li mas, nyem no, kuv hais rau nej tias nej tsis txhob quav ntsej rau cov neeg ntawd, nej tso plhuav lawv. Vim tias yog lawv cov lus thiab lawv txoj kab xwm tuaj ntawm neeg tuaj, mas txoj kab xwm ntawd nws yuav rov rhuav nws ploj mus. 39 Hos yog tias lawv txoj kab xwm tuaj ntawm Tswv Ntuj tuaj tiag, mas nej
yeej rhuav tsis tau. Nej tsis txhob tuam yim, tsam nej lam ua rog tiv Tswv Ntuj.” Sawv daws yuav Nkas Mas Lias zaj tswv yim.
33 But they, when they heard this, were cut to the heart, and were determined to kill them. 34 But one stood up in the council, a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law, honored by all the people, and commanded to put the apostles out for a little while. 35 He said to them, “You men of Israel, be careful concerning these men, what you are about to do. 36 For before these days Theudas rose up, making himself out to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves. He was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were dispersed and came to nothing. 37 After this man, Judas of Galilee rose up in the days of the enrollment, and drew away some people after him.
